What We Do

Our Mission

HomeStretch empowers families with transformational support to acquire the resources, skills and behavioral changes necessary for achieving and sustaining their economic independence

We Accomplish this by

Providing affordable, supportive housing in great neighborhoods where clients feel safe, connected and work toward stabilization.

Understanding and developing interventions to address the impact of trauma, poverty and social bias experienced by our clients, and the effects on their cognitive skills and sense of agency.

Our vision

To eradicate homelessness in (and with) the Greater North Fulton Community by creating pathways out of poverty for the families we serve.

Our Core Values

We Are Empowering

We believe clients are the experts of their own life. We aim to educate, uplift, and motivate our clients with the power to expand their own potential.

We Are Dedicated

We are passionate about our people and our services. Our success is based not only on the results we achieve, but how we achieve them. We commit to integrity and open communication.

We Are Compassionate

We act with kindness. We value a genuine connection with our clients and our community. We find and focus on people’s strengths to foster hope and healing without judgment or prejudice.

We Are Transformational

We are transformative, not transactional. We partner with families and take a holistic approach to drive true and lasting generational change.

We Are Innovative

We collaborate to design and implement new and better pathways out of poverty. We apply new lessons quickly, confidently, and continuously.

We Are Knowledgeable

We seek to understand emerging human science and consistently develop our skills to improve our ability to educate our clients to achieve upward mobility and economic independence.

brittany's story

Our Programs

Brittany recently celebrated 2 years of sobriety. When she graduated from Mary Hall Freedom Village in February of 2023, she was reunited with her children after 7 months apart. After struggling to find a sustainable place to live with her children, she was accepted into HomeStretch, and now has a home to prepare her family for a bright future. Since joining in July, she’s found greater financial stability, increasing her credit score by 57 points, and saving over $3,000. In her new job, she’s been promoted twice and has aspirations of owning her own franchise one day. She plans to continue budgeting with the goal of buying a home for her family. HomeStretch has really created a sense of stability and empowerment for her family.
